SEATTLE, Washington - Manager John Gibbons was forced to make a lineup change moments before the start of Wednesday afternoons series finale against the Seattle Mariners. Catcher J.P. Arencibia, who was penciled in to get his first start of the series and hit ninth, was scratched after suffering a knee injury while warming up in the bullpen. Its a right knee problem Arencibia says has been lingering for some time. "I mean, its stuff that I deal with the whole year," said Arencibia. "It was there a little bit more than usual. Im wanting to play through everything possible. It just didnt feel like I could really go." Arencibia suffered a flare up during a pre-game bullpen warmup session, conducting a drill in which he practices blocking pitches. He underwent an MRI and the Blue Jays expect to have the results on Thursday. Happ Returns J.A. Happ, pitching in his first major league game in exactly three months, couldnt hold an early 7-2 lead and the Blue Jays lost 9-7, failing to sweep the Mariners. "Obviously not how I wanted it to go," said Happ. "We should have won that game. We scored seven runs early and I wasnt able to keep us holding on to that. Not the way I would have written it up and not what I was hoping for but looking forward to the next one already." Happ didnt get a decision. In four-plus innings, he allowed seven runs (six earned,) on seven hits and three walks. Happ struck out two Mariners. It was May 7 in Tampa Bay when Happ was struck in the head by a line drive off the bat of the Rays Desmond Jennings. Happ suffered a skull fracture and lacerated ear. His most significant injuries, however, were strains to the PCL and MCL in his right knee, which occurred as he fell to the ground. In eight starts this season, Happ is 2-2 with a 5.84 ERA. Happs next scheduled start is Tuesday when the Blue Jays open a three-game series with the Red Sox at Rogers Centre. Nike Air Max Aanbieding . -- Devin Hester is done returning kicks in Chicago.
