(STATS) -- Though idle last weekend, Grambling State managed to find its way into the STATS FCS Top 25 for the first time this season Monday. However, its possible the Tigers wont be ranked the next time they take the field. And it wouldnt be any fault of their own.In the midst of a second consecutive bye week within the Southwestern Athletic Conference, No. 25 Grambling (4-1, 3-0) is once again practicing to fine-tune its own game while not preparing for any opponent.Something I have never been a part of, Tigers coach Broderick Fobbs said. Its something you have to play the hand that youve been dealt.Hopefully this never happens again. It actually did happen to the Tigers in November 2013, the year before Fobbs took the job.Grambling, which last played Oct. 1 against Prairie View A&M and wont play again until visiting Mississippi Valley State on Oct. 22, isnt the only SWAC school affected by this unique scheduling quirk. Rival Southern faces Jackson State on Saturday after being idle since its 59-31 win at Alabama A&M on Sept. 24.Though Fobbs seems none too pleased with Gramblings situation, hes proud of the way his squad has handled things during this unique and somewhat frustrating lull in the schedule. Our kids are excited, but they are mature about the situation, he said. They are handling it the right way. They understand the focus of practicing a certain way.Last week gave the Tigers a chance to rest and get some banged-up players back to health. Which was more than enough time, according to Fobbs.I dont think you need three, four weeks to rest, he said. These kids are young, their bodies heal fast. I dont think three weeks is the way to go. One week is plenty enough to get quality rest. This week, the Tigers focus is on playing smart football, cleaning up any issues and concentrating on bettering the program as a whole.Being sharp, transition the right way, Fobbs said. Playing without making mistakes.Grambling has looked sharp when actually on the field in 2016. The Tigers rank among the national leaders in all of college football averaging 41.4 points and have won three in a row since falling 31-21 at Arizona on Sept. 10 in a game they led 21-3 at halftime.Ole Miss transfer DeVante Kincade has thrown for 1,1434 yards, 11 touchdowns and three interceptions and run for a team-leading 303 with five TDs.Aside from the loss at Arizona, the Tigers defense has not yielded more than 18 points in any other contest. That all adds up to a team worthy of its first STATS FCS Top 25 ranking since tabbed 24th in last seasons final poll.Like most coaches, at least publicly, Fobbs wont read too much into the rankings but remains a steadfast champion for the collective talent found in the SWAC.I really put no stock into polls, he said. But I will say this ... as a group, this conference as a whole, it doesnt matter who is ranked. I think this conference doesnt get the respect it deserves. Kenneth Faried Nets Jersey . There are many more players in contentioMax Verstappen and Kimi Raikkonen trade blows on the race track and over the radiowaves in the Spa-Francorchamps edition of Radio Ga Ga.The f---ing idiot, what is he doing? Pascal Wehrlein gets a sweary weekend off to a start in final practice as he finds a slow-moving Esteban Gutierrez in the middle of the track as he crests Eau Rouge. What an idiot. Did you see that? Adidas Gazelle Schweiz Thierry Henry admits Arsenal face a big summer transfer window and says the club must rekindle the excitement among the club’s fans by mounting a title challenge next season. Thursdays 2-0 win at home to West Brom saw Arsenal move ahead of Manchester City into third place in the Premier League, as boss Arsene Wenger remains on course to lead the Gunners into the Champions League for the 19th season in succession. But Henry insists Wengers side should be challenging for trophies every season and Arsenals record goalscorer believes a predatory striker can help Arsenal rival the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea for the Premier League next season. Henrys title race verdict Thierry Henrys Premier League title race verdict Alexis Sanchez scored both goals in Arsenals 2-0 win over West Brom on Thursday Speaking on Sky Sports Now, Henry said: Im sure if you ask Arsene or any of the fans or players if they want to finish only in the top four they will say no we want to win the league, because it comes with the shirt and it comes with the badge that you have on your heart. But now you have to save the top four. Are the fans, the players and the manager happy with that? No, but being in the Champions League is vital for Arsenal Football Club, and if you want to build for next season you need to be in the Champions League to attract good players. Henry on Rooney and Rashford Thierry Henry says Wayne Rooney must go to Euro 2016 but it may come too soon for Marcus Rashford Henry says everyone at the club will be disappointed not to be in the title race but they can start building for next season Now who is going to come? That is always a tricky question because who do you get?Who are you going to get that will get the goals to help you win the title? Not the goals every weekend, but a guy that can score when you need to score, the guy who needs one opportunity to score to put you 1-0 up.Where are you going to get a Sergio Aguero, a (Robert) Lewandowski or a (Luis) Suarez from? Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 37 goal for Borussia Dortmund this season Those guys dont come around very often. (Pierree-Emerick) Aubameyang might be available (but) are you going to be able to attract him? Its not always easy but who is going to stay? If you know who is going to stay then you can think more about who is going to come in.ddddddddddddut the problem is Manchester City are going to be in the market next season, so will Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool. I go back to what Arsenal said that the team does not need many changes and if Sanchez can perform the way he is at the minute, and we have Mesut Ozil carrying on giving the assists he has been giving since the beginning of the season, then you would like to think a striker who can score [can make all the difference].But its going to be a very busy summer for Arsene because you need to get that excitement back so that the fans can look forward to something next season.Despite signing a new Arsenal contract last summer, Theo Walcott has found himself on the fringe of the action, playing a total of 19 minutes in Arsenals last five league games. Theo Walcott was once again on the Arsenal bench on Thursday night Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - currently sidelined with a knee injury - has endued similar frustration, starting just nine league games for the Gunners this term.Henry says the former Southampton duo need game-time, particularly 27-year-old Walcott, who has now been at Arsenal for more than a decade. Henry admits the fans are unhappy with the club but its vital they keep coming to the matches and supporting the team I think Theo is a talent and obviously people keep on saying he is young, Henry added. But he has been in the game for a very long time. The thing I have always mentioned about Theo is can he be a starter? Has he been a starter since he has been at Arsenal? Its 10 years or so now since hes been at Arsenal, has he played 30 games a season in the league? Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain injured his knee against Barcelona in February I think its time for Theo, whether its at Arsenal or not, and Im not saying he should leave or not because that is out of my hands, but he needs to start to play every time.He needs to start being the first name on the teamsheet. That is very important and its the same for Ox - those guys need to play. It can be at Arsenal because we know how talented they are but even if its not, those guys need to play wherever it is.
